Creative Writing Class visits the Pergamon Museum

The creative writing class took in the Pergamon Altar as an intermedial experience, reading the opening of Peter Weiss’ novel The Aesthetics of Resistance and listening to a contemporary musical response to the altar and the text. Our visit helped them think about layers of language and history as they work on a multimedia “palimpsest project” this week.
